Plans

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer. 29:11. This is my absolute favorite verse. The beginning of my last semester I chose this verse as my theme every day. I even had it painted on my cap. My last semester was the best 6 months of my life. Not solely because I graduated, but because I constantly reminded myself that God’s plan for my life is BIGGER than any I could come up with. It keeps me focused and purpose-driven. Thanks for the reminder SADIEDAILY!

When you think about it there are so many plans and decisions that we have to configure day in and out. About how often while we are sitting worried and frustrated about the future do we consult it with God? Maybe if we gave our cares to him, instead of worrying about what will happen next, (pray and prepare) we would look forward to whatโ€™s to come knowing it will be better than we ever planned.
