Nebulous Seasons

Is anyone else thinking, “Omg, it’s April already?

Have you reviewed your personal and professional goals in disappointment?

Does it feel like nothing MAJOR or extremely exciting has happened as you reflect on what you were doing last year this time?

You are not alone. In fact, I answered yes to all three! But what I came to realize as I meditated on:

1.  The goodness of God

                      AND

2.  What I’ve accomplished so far

Is that IT IS OKAY. I then entered a space of immense gratitude.

We MUST realize life isn’t so rigid. It doesn’t always go exactly how we planned if at all.

We MUST remember we cannot control every little detail as we would absolutely LOVE to.

Sometimes it doesn’t make sense why you haven’t reached that goal you wrote down and that’s pinned on your vision board.

Sometimes it doesn’t make sense why you didn’t get that job you really wanted.

It’s confusing and you can’t really pinpoint exactly what it is.

I’m calling it a nebulous season. A season that is hazy and vague. A season that is necessary for you to fully COMMIT and RELY on God to grant you the clarity you need.

I know it’s tough. I know it’s painful. But what I also know for sure, God is too faithful to fail us now.

xoxo,

B

This is a nice message. Respect for the Higher Power, motivation, and perseverance can get a person where he/she should be. But sometimes, progress sure does seem slow! Indeed.
