Is your faith contradicting your actions? Do you speak of God’s power yet your life does not resemble what you say you believe? This blog isn’t intended to question anyone’s belief. It’s not for me to judge.
However, I’ve personally experienced believers quoting scriptures like “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” or saying “I am a Daughter of the Most High God.” I ponder on the thought do they really understand the magnitude of their words. Would our God who created the ENTIRE universe be pleased will children who lack zeal, who never push the status quo, who choose to live in poverty because opportunities seem “too good to be true.”
The God I know and serve is not pleased with His children speaking of his goodness but not ACTING on it. Our religion/spirituality was not intended to be a crutch or excuse for lack of actions. The phrase “I am waiting on God.” or “I know the Lord is going to make a way somehow.” to “God didn’t want that for me.” What if He’s waiting on YOU. He’s might of already told you to move but you allow fear to keep you stuck and complacent.
It’s time to WALK in the Word. Just talking is not and never will be the TRUE definition of faith.
