It’s been quite a while since I’ve allocated time to blog . I’m usually inspired by an experience or thought. This blog is an accumulation of both.
I am a very active person. I love to do multiple things in minute time frames. I may have a speaking engagement on Saturday, a photo shoot on Sunday, and a volunteer project on Monday. All activities I enjoy, but not necessarily building blocks of where invaluable time should be spent. As I analyze my recent past, I realize living a sporadic life could cause me to not truly live my purpose.
What are you saying Britney? I’m saying that I’ve learned that consuming your time with so many different things you never master a skill, you are too busy to be present, and you miss opportunities to work toward a SPECIFIC goal. Television and social media can also play a role in draining the energy you need.
I have had an amazing year! Filled with events, opportunities to empower others, leadership conferences, photo shoots, and even adventures like skydiving. Transiting into 3rd quarter living, I understand that I don’t have to be everywhere, I don’t have to say yes to every opportunity, and I don’t have to post everything I experience. I’m most productive and purposeful when I am still and FOCUSED on one thing at a time.
I pray that you find stillness in a world filled with drama, disparity, and distractions.

I needed that Britney! I’m working on focusing on one thing at a time. Love this!
