From LAX back to MS: What’s next, how do I(you) get there?

I am not sad to be back home in Mississippi, nor do I feel like I’m back at the starting line. Honestly, being back home motivates me to figure out “What’s Next”?

Before I came to LA for the Dream Careers internship program, I did a lot of planning as well as fundraising. Everyday I set a new task for myself, and I spent long hours starting as early as 5:00 A.M. to get ready to go talk to others about achieving my goal.

Reflecting back on my journey makes me realize that I have to use that same strategy with everything I do: consistency. I experience more No’s than Yes’, but that’s life. If you could get something the moment you put your mind to it, everyone will be successful!
