Okay, so let’s face it. Not everyone likes their job or what it takes to get there. Most are up around 6:00am getting the kids ready, cooking breakfast, or preparing their minds spiritually for the day ahead.
Before you know it, it’s 9:00am and you have a slew of emails with deadlines, the coffee machine is broken, and you’ve encountered negativity before you’ve made it to your desk. You ask yourself and maybe even God “Why am I at this job?” and “What’s my purpose here?” He has given us a answer in Ephesians 6:7 – Do your work, and be happy to do it. Work as though it is the Lord you are serving, not just an earthly master.
Well, viola! There you have it. There is purpose in every situation, every job, and every circumstance God puts you in. It’s up to you to find that purpose and do it!
