What I find myself doing as I am transitioning into a new chapter of my life. It’s rough, but it’s necessary.
I’m a busy bee. I love to go go go. I love having my hands in a little bit of everything, but I’m realizing not every opportunity is meant to be MY assignment. Everything I say yes to is connected to everything else. I found myself distracted at work, skipping my daily devotional, and unintentional prayers to God. Wait a minute..wait a minute..
Are the things I am saying yes to God’s yes’s or mine? Is this developing me Physically? Emotionally? Spiritually? Is He glorified? Who else is affected by my decision? What I found out was, when it’s God yes He will give you everything you need to execute. It will fit into HIS calling on your life.
If something or someone is in your life that isn’t assisting in growth in all areas of your life, step back and reassess. Ask God for guidance, for courage to make a decision and have peace with it. Know that to inherit His best fruit, you gotta let some things go. Cut some people out of your life. His reward, His crown is worth it.
